We are a network of language enthusiasts who are new to the jungle of academia and want to support and stand by each other. The Association of Emerging Linguists (EL) consists of students, graduates, and individuals interested in linguistics and related disciplines. EL provides a platform to navigate, connect, exchange ideas, and help each other, but also to shift structures and create new things.
Everyone who wants to contribute is welcome, regardless of their field of linguistics,whether it's philology, education, sociology, political science, history, cognitive science, neuroscience, law, communication science, comparative literature, etc. Linguistic research can be conducted wherever language is found - and that's almost everywhere.
EL offers opportunities for networking, lecture series, collaborations, newsletters, and opportunities to present and realize your own projects.
